We are now hosting public Tier 2 courses in Birmingham. These are ideal for individuals or smaller teams looking to complete their Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism. These sessions are a more cost-effective alternative to group bookings, making them a practical solution for organisations wanting to meet statutory training requirements without arranging on-site delivery.
The Tier 2 course is a full-day, face-to-face training session designed for health and social care staff who have direct responsibility for supporting autistic people or individuals with a learning disability. It goes beyond general awareness and covers key topics such as avoiding diagnostic overshadowing, understanding reasonable adjustments, communicating in accessible ways, and applying relevant legislation like the Mental Capacity Act and Autism Act.
Co-delivered by a qualified trainer and two Experts with Lived Experience, the course brings real-life perspectives to the forefront.
Note: Delegates MUST complete the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism Part 1 elearning before attending a Tier 2 course.
After checkout, a member of our team will contact you with further details.
