- Understand health and safety legislation and how it relates to a child care setting
- Understand the principles of risk assessment in a child care setting
- Explain different health and safety issues such as manual handling, PPE and fire safety
- Know how to deal with accidents, including reporting and recording
Certification: Successful candidates will be issued with a certificate valid for 3 years.
